Planting Density: 2-5 plants per m², 1.5-3 plants per linear metre.
Uses: Mass planting, feature planting and pots for commercial and residential.
Position: Perfectly suited to most parts of New Zealand. Tolerates full sun to shade positions and frost areas. In humid climates like Auckland, it prefers raised or flat gardens and it is best to avoid depressed areas.
Not recommended for coastal use; plant Wyeena™ Dianella at least 1km away from the coast.
Care: Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). Ensure crown or base of plant is not below soil or mulch level. If required use slow release fertiliser in spring. Irrigate in summer if dry. Remove older leaves as required and trim in spring or autumn if leaf burns occurs.
