Description: Shara™ Lomandra is a tough fine leaf compact form with blue grey tones and masses of yellow flowers that sit above the foliage. A very drought tough plant with a smaller height for mass planting in landscapes. Shara™ Lomandra is a very Phytophthora resistant Lomandra for humid landscapes, along with being the number one rooftop garden plant in trials. It’s more compact, smaller height makes it ideal for mass plantings. It is also a soft and kid friendly plant.

Size: 45-55 cm high x 50 cm wide.

Planting Density: 4-6 plants per m², 2-3 plants per linear metre.

Uses: Mass planting in wet and dry areas.

Position: Full sun to moderate shade. Drought and very cold tolerant. Shara™ Lomandra suits a wide variety of soils. Can tolerate periodic wet feet, but not permanent.

Care: Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). For best performance ensure crown or base of plant is not below soil or mulch level. If required use slow release fertiliser in spring. Every 3-10 years cut back 15cm above the ground if required (will look better with pruning every 3 years, this depends on your requirements).
